Thorben, founder and CEO, is the visionary behind the patented Qalibra imaging system. With a career leading diagnostic imaging teams in private practice and at the University of Berlin, he has been at the forefront of advancing equine imaging. His passion for horses isn’t just professional—it’s personal. In fact, despite his height, he even holds a jockey license, proving that when it comes to the equestrian world, he’s never afraid to take the reins—literally!
Felix is the Vice President of Qalibra US Inc., specializing in animal mobility solutions. A veterinarian trained in Germany, Canada, and the U.S., he leads CSU’s Orthopedic Medicine and Mobility Service. While his career revolves around small animals, his heart belongs to horses—so much so that he has seven of his own and a particularly opinionated one who insists on breakfast the moment the lights go on.
Amanda, our Administrative Coordinator, brings over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine and diagnostic imaging. She holds degrees in English, Anthropology, and Veterinary Science, and has worked in clinics in Atlanta and at CSU. Amanda lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband and two dogs. She loves gardening, science fiction, and good beer.
Yasmin is the Assistant Manager at Qalibra, ensuring seamless CT system installations for veterinary clinics and universities. A Brazilian-American with a background in international studies, diplomacy, and teaching, she excels at adapting to diverse environments and solving challenges with precision.
She runs complex projects flawlessly, but when it comes to chocolate—no discussion, no compromise, no sharing. The last piece? Don’t even think about it.
Christin, our Application Specialist and Service Coordinator for users outside North America, combines equine clinical experience with radiology expertise. Her veterinary career began in 2007 at Equine Clinic Burg MĂĽggenhausen, where a passion for advanced imaging quickly took shape.
Originally set on becoming an astronaut, she soon realized CT scans may not have zero gravity, but the images are just as cool!
With a master’s in Mechatronics and the unique experience of studying in five countries across three continents, he’s a problem-solver with a global twist. His time abroad didn’t just sharpen his engineering skills—it also turned him into an avid traveler always on the lookout for his next adventure!
Iman, born and raised in Hong Kong with Swiss-Caribbean roots, brings a global perspective to her role as our Marketing Manager. With over seven years of experience in marketing and strategy across diverse industries, she specializes in data-driven campaigns that fuel business growth and enhance customer satisfaction. And if marketing ever needed a heavy-duty backup plan, she can also handle a 40-tonne truck—just in case.
Erin is our Client Advocate, who joined us with a very diverse background in the global veterinary industry. As the proud wife of a fighter pilot, she is constantly moving with her menagerie of "special" animals. Fun fact: Erin is a living kidney donor and will soon also be donating a portion of her liver.
Sadie grew up in California, spending much of her time in the saddle or knee-deep in other horse-related work. While completing her BSc in Equine Science from CSU, she started working for Felix mucking stalls and caring for his horses—proving that a strong work ethic (and a high tolerance for dirt) translates well to just about any career, apparently including high end veterinary imaging! With five years of experience in CX and client relationship management at small tech startups and a lifetime in the equine industry, Sadie is excited to bring her passion for animals, problem-solving, and customer care to Qalibra. When she's not working, you can find her riding her horse, practicing yoga, exploring the great outdoors, or catching a live show—often in the company of her ever-growing menagerie of animals in Denver.
With years of hands-on experience using the Qalibra CT in an equine clinic, Valerie now brings her expertise to our team as an Account and Application Manager, ensuring top-tier support for clients.
When she’s not helping veterinarians fine-tune their imaging, she’s tölting across the fields on her Icelandic horse or training a team of eager sled dogs—never one to sit still for long!
